What I love about Disney
- The magic. I absolutely looove the way it makes me feel. It’s also influenced my life; I always try to look at the brighter side of things, and when I’m down, I can always pop in a movie and feel better.
My Disney Experiences
- My earliest Disney experience was when I saw Aladdin in theaters at three weeks old. XD My mom said I didn’t cry at all. I just stared at the pretty colors on the screen the whole time.
- I played Jafar in the Aladdin show at Disneyland when I was little. They had me sit on stage with a mask, and they told me to growl at the audience, but I was so scared up there that I wouldn’t do it lol
- Also when I was little, I had suuuuper long hair so my grandma called me Rapunzel. When Tangled came out, she took me to see it for my 18th birthday and it was even more special because it was Rapunzel’s 18th birthday in the movie.
- And also due to my long hair, once when I went to Disneyland, Snow White kept playing with it while we were taking a picture x]
- For my 16th birthday, we went to Disneyland and I got Birthday Mickey ears. My friend and I were waiting in line for the Finding Nemo ride, and when we got to the front, the cast member was like, “It’s your birthday??” and then he yelled to everyone else in line, “HEY EVERYONE! WE’RE GONNA SING MEAGAN HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! And I’ll do it backwards! :D” He counted down, and right before he started singing, he jumped a 180 turn, and sang Happy Birthday with his back to me. XD The whole line sang too. It was so cool.
- I have three cats, all named after Disney characters. Mushu, Nemo, and Nani. Previously I had two other cats, also Disney-named: Winnie and Princess Dot.
- I’ve been in 5 Disneyland parades over the years~
- On April 29th, 2012, I decided to meet up with a couple people I met from RPing; I play Rapunzel, and they play Eugene and Ariel. Anyway, we met up and had fun, then we waited in line for about an hour to meet Flynn and Rapunzel, and when we did, it was amazing. They were so perfect! Flynn said I could call him Eugene—and he said that only said that I could and I play Rapunzel so I died—and then he and Rapunzel were arguing about frying pans, then suddenly he got quiet and said, “…You’re lucky you’re cute.” AND WE ALL DIED. - Recently, my long distance boyfriend moved to California from Washington, so naturally we had to go to Disneyland. He left without saying goodbye to most of his family which kind of upset him but there was nothing he could do about it now. Anyway, we were just walking around Frontierland when all of a sudden he stops and stares at a group in front of us. I was kind of confused, then he yelled out, “JULIE!” And the girl turned around! It was one of his cousins from back home and we just happened to go to Disneyland on the exact same day! Talk about Disney magic, right?
My Disney Dreams
- I would love to be a Princess face character! Making a difference in a child’s life like this, would just be magical♥ Unfortunately I’m too short to be most of them… I could always be one of the shorter ones, but I don’t think I look enough like them.
- If I’m never a princess, I’d like to be either Minnie Mouse or just a regular cast member~
- Someday, I want to travel the world and go to every Disney Resort
- I want to be proposed to at Disneyland, married at Disneyland with a Disney Princess inspired wedding gown and ring, and then honeymoon at Walt Disney World :D Honestly, if my boyfriend at the time doesn’t at least propose to me at Disneyland, we shouldn’t get married. lol
